arumer the dubtapes

Four experienced live techno musicians from the Netherlands join forces in their new dub-oriented project “Arumer”. Their recently released debut album “The Dubtapes” shows that dirty and deep dubwise music can definitely be played with ‘real’ instruments. The instruments range from acoustic drums and stick bass to home-made analog synthesisers and a 70’s electronic saxophone. The album starts off with an uncompromising dirty sound, while the band slowly explores more and more into the deep, always keeping that unique danceble human feel to it.

One remarkable feature is that the recordings are analog. The album is available on cd and on cassette tape; the tape version is fully analog (AAA), which gives even more depth and energy to the music. The selfreleased album can be bought by contacting info@arumer.nl.
