Back by dope demand!! This years edition of the legendary Triphouse Rotterdam ‘King of the Beat Battle’ producer contest will be held on Wednesday April 9th 2014. We invite all electronic music producers to bring their laptop for this epic showdown. All producers will receive the same sample pack and will get one hour to produce the loop of all loops. After this hour all participants will play their loop over the big soundsystem to the jury, their peers and audience. This jury of veteran producers and label owners will decide the winner (1st, 2nd and 3rd place), and thus who will receive eternal honor and glory, the ‘King Of The Beat Battle’ trophy, a bottle of champagne and loads of other prizes. More prizes and additional information will be announced during the coming weeks! With last years epic edition in mind we are planning to raise the bar again..
Program:
18:00 – 20:30 Dinner (special three course menu)
20:30 – 21:00 Introduction, rules, set up gear
21:00 – 22:00 Production time
22:00 – 24:00 Listening to all loops over the system
24:00 – 00:15 Jury announces 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners
00:15 – 01:00 Victory dance
– All styles of electronic music are welcome (except EDM because that sucks monkeyballs)
– Max. 40 participants, first come first serve
– No extra samples and/or VST plug in sounds are allowed
– Entrance fee for participants is EUR 20,- (This includes a three course dinner)
– Entrance for audience is free
