The Triphouse Rotterdam crew had a dream of creating a communal space where electronic music aficionados could gather and enjoy the delights of sincere music and good company. A place that pays homage to the art and tradition of DJ’ing and the collecting of Black Gold. A place where quality, creativity and open mindedness are the highest values and where youngsters and veterans alike would mingle and together spread the gospel of house music. It started out five years ago with a table, some curver crates with records, lots of beers and above all, a whole lotta love. During the years that followed the store became a stronghold of Rotterdam’s burgeoning underground house scene. The crew expanded with a lot of rising talent and welcomed lots of new friends over the doorstep.
Thanks to your ongoing love and support we are able to celebrate the fifth anniversary of our beloved Triphouse Rotterdam Recordstore (which in fact is already the third store!). We are still struggling but always in good spirit, keepin’ the Olympic torch of underground music and party culture up high and proud. We don’t know what the future will bring, but one thing is for sure; it will be accompanied by a tight 4×4 beat, funky basses and some lush strings..
