This coming Saturday the MINT crew has a new event coming up at Bar.
MINT is all about bringing people and music even closer together. They take their visitors on a musical journey across all different styles. For this edition for example they start-off with an ambient live-set (which is pretty rare to find over here) and they have the Dutch debut of their two headliners from Sweden – Mr. Tophat & Art Alfie.
This Swedish duo is not just breaking through, they’re absolutely taking the scene by storm! They founded the label Karlovak together and have risen from relative obscurity to being Sweden’s next big thing. Their productions are known for their catchy beats and groovy House with Disco samples. With remixes by Loco Dice, Joel Mull and Molly among others, there’s no denying these two are making waves!
The live-act Aleks doesn’t play that very often but he was a Boiler Room debut a few weeks ago, it’s his first time in Rotterdam. Also their resident DJ, Mark Antoni with his second gig in Rotterdam, it’s also Jaime Frias’ second gig in Rotterdam.
This is their second edition (for their first edition they booked Patrice Scott).
Their concept is vinyl-orientated so the DJ’s will play vinyl-only sets (apart from the live-set of Aleks).
