For our next Tarot experience we’ve invited the Detroit legend that is Terrence Parker!
Terrence Parker (aka International DJ Extraordinaire) is one of the true Detroit House Music legends. As a DJ, Terrence Parker (known to many as “TP”) has become legendary for his quite uncommon yet skillful turntablism style of playing House Music with gigs in over 200 cities worldwide. He’s a respected label owner of the Parker Music Works, and as a producer he has dropped stellar EPs on Planet E, !K7 Records, Systematic and Midnight Shift. Since 1988, Parker has released more than 100 recordings, and has had top 20 hits with his songs “Love’s Got Me High”, “The Question” and albums like “Detroit After Dark”. TP has also become widely admired because he uses an actual telephone handset as headphones; causing some to give him the nick name, “Telephone Man”. Others call him the “Telephone Man” because he has answered the CALL to bring us music to feed our souls!
Terrence ‘Telephone Man’ Parker will share his Detroit vision with the Rotterdam scene on September 5th @ Het Transportbedrijf with support from Triphouse Rotterdam’s own Khalil & Steven Pieters and Taylan Alan.
